My MOOC experience

The task was set quite simply: look through the list of MOOC, select a resource, select a course on it, and describe it after passing. My attention and interest were riveted on the resource COURSERA.

It attracted me with its simplicity, convenience and intuitive interface. Since I was offered to choose a direction and specialization, in the end, the resource offered several options for very tempting courses.I decided to try my hand at a course called First Step Korean, which focuses on the base of the Korean language.

The course is a set of so-called weeks, which include 6 tasks, ranging from watching videos and independent study of literature and ending with a module consisting of 4 tests on different topics.

One of the most convenient functions during a task (watching video materials) is a script that automatically highlights the sentence that is being spoken at the moment by the speaker. There is also the possibility of changing the language. There are English, Arabic, Vietnamese, Spanish, German and even Chinese.

The resource also provides the ability to download videos.

My final conclusion: it doesn't matter which of the many resource you visit or how many courses you take. The quality of the information provided is undoubtedly the benchmark. The main thing is the desire to study the chosen course with interest. This can help the all-round development of the user as a person.
